The wait is over — Brownsburg’s favorite free outdoor music event, Blues in the ‘Burg, is back! Mark your calendars for a day of soulful melodies in the scenic Arbuckle Acres Park on Saturday, September 6. Now in its eighth year, the festival promises to bring together families, friends, and music lovers from near and far for an unforgettable experience.

The festival kicks off at 4 p.m. and features over five hours of live music from nationally and regionally renowned artists. This year’s exciting lineup spans genres including blues, soul, rock, and jazz-blues, headlined by Grammy-nominated artist Shemekia Copeland. Additional performances by Lauren Anderson, John Németh, Shaun Booker Dammit Band, and King Bee & the Stingers will keep the audience entertained throughout the evening.

Event accessibility features will be available for festival attendees, including a wheelchair-accessible path that will assist festival attendees out onto the lawn for a better view. A sensory-friendly tent from K1ds Count featuring headphones, weighted blankets, and more will be set up to help community members enjoy the festival from a relaxing space.
Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to enjoy the performances comfortably. For more information on this event, please visit brownsburgparks.com/515/Blues-in-the-Burg.
