Brownsburg residents will soon have a refreshing new way to beat the summer heat! The Town of Brownsburg is excited to announce the grand re-opening of the splash pad at Williams Park, located at 940 S. Locust Lane. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 10 a.m., officially unveiling the upgraded facility to the public.
Closed since 2023, the 10-year-old splash pad has undergone significant renovations to enhance the user experience. Improvements include expanded play areas, additional play features, a new tipping bucket to replace the water wheel, upgraded drainage systems, and enhanced underground water lines to improve functionality and performance. To provide more comfort for visitors, new picnic tables with umbrellas have been added, offering extra shade for supervising adults, while shade sails remain throughout the play space.
“The splash pad at Williams Park has been a treasured community space for families in Brownsburg to enjoy,” said Town Council President Travis Tschaenn. “These upgrades will make it an even more exciting and fun destination for our community during the summer months.”
The zero-depth splash pad features more than 30 interactive elements spread across 3,100 square feet, offering endless opportunities for play and cooling off on hot days.
Following the grand opening, the splash pad will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. through September 1. The splash pad is free and open to the public.
